Olivia Khoshatefeh is a New York based Persian-American filmmaker and actor. She recently produced the feature film Jabberjaw, wrote the upcoming satirical comedy What R u?, and is preparing to launch her production banner, Zaytoon Films,  in 2026.  As an actor she appeared in New Amsterdam (NBC) for five seasons. Other credits include Elsbeth (CBS), Inventing Anna (Netflix), Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix), Dickinson (Apple TV), Mr. Robot (USA), and the Blindspot (NBC). 

Olivia is a Boston native with an MFA from Brown University/Trinity Rep. Her work as a filmmaker draws equally from her Middle Eastern heritage and her New England upbringing - a mix that defines her creative voice.  Her stories live in the in-between: exploring culture, womanhood, and the contradictions that make us whole.
